I have only visited the area but the area just west of campus is very nice with numerous redone vintage townhomes, etc. But everything that really moves the needle in finance is really just whats going on inside of peoples heads.. there are these crazy stoplights that are supposed to be prettier or something but you can barely see them . In general, I feel like its just classes and nothing else for me - I dont have any on campus friends like I did at my other schools, I dont really attend basketball, and I do not own any VCU merch its been just a great place to take classes for me.
